‘India Will Strike’: Former cricketer makes a strong statement that after the Pahgam terror attack. Cricket news

New Delhi:Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday issued a strong and emotional statement in view of terrorist attacks on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Taking X (East Twitter), Gambhir condemned the attack and swear that justice will be served:
> “Praying for the families of the deceased. People responsible for this will pay. India will strike. #Pahalgam
The heinous act, which claimed many lives and shaken the nation, inspired him to widely move forward of sorrow and resentment. Former and current Indian cricketers joined Gambhir in mourning the tragedy.
Former all -rounder Yuvraj Singh wrote: “saddened by the attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Praying for the victims and for the strength of their families. Let us unite in hope and humanity.”
Irfan Pathan, who was recently in Kashmir, broke his heart: “Every time an innocent life is lost, humanity is lost … This pain seems very close.”

Suresh Raina condemned the attack, called it a “cowardly task”:

KL Rahul said: Heartbreaking to hear about the terrorist attack in Kashmir. My views are with the families of the victims. Praying for peace and power.
Shubman Gill said: Heartbreaking to hear about the attack in Pahgam. My prayers are with the victims and their families. Such violence has no place in our country.
