Anurag Kashyap does not need any guidance: Roshan Matthew | Hindi film news

In the last decade, it is difficult to recall the rise of Malayalam cinema as one of India’s most courageous and consistent film industries. From storytelling to a tireless focus on craft, the industry has found fans beyond the borders of Kerala – including famous filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Known for the production of his gritty, unfiltard film, Kashyap has been vocal about his love for Malayalam cinema, even in interviews claiming that he is taking his Aadhaar to the south and intends to make his mark in Malayalam films. But does a filmmaker of his stature require guidance by navigating this close and navigating the specific industry? Actor Roshan Matthew does not think so. Kaship and Roshan have worked together on a film called Chocad in the past- this was Roshan’s first film in Hindi and it also included Saimi Kher. “I don’t think they need any guidance from me,” Roshan Chakallas said in a recent conversation. “First of all, he is very good as an actor, such as Saymi and I, we keep discussing how good he is and he is very fun to look at the screen, it is a rifle club or Maharaja.Roshan also shared that he was in a lot of contact with Anurag as he recently spent a lot of time in Kerala. He met during the shooting of the rifle club while he was there. He was also present at the KR Narayan Film Institute for some time, he saw Kennedy together and finally combined the company that he could provide to Anurag. Kashyap’s affection for Malayalam cinema stems from the same place that inspires actors like Roshan – an environment that a healthy disregard for creativity, experiment and traditional film production norms. For Roshan, this is a particularly luxurious time to work in Malayalam films.“It’s incredible,” says Roshan. “We all – my colleagues, my friends – we are simply grateful to survive and work in this special moment. Some very talented filmmakers are incredibly skilled technicians, and in fact there is a group of brave producers who are ready to return risky ideas. Everyone is playing together at this place, and it keeps you on their fingers.”The actor believes that the partner and competitive spirit within the industry has inspired everyone to elevate their game. “My friend Circle has a lot of actors – people I have known for the last five or seven years – I have developed in artists who are able to work, when I first met him, I wouldn’t have imagined,” they see.And this is not just the lead of new people or in -charge of the middle generation. The legends continue to set tone for the industry. “People like Mamooti and Mohanlal are pioneers from the front. They are still selecting challenging roles, working with new directors, and we are not in no place, showing the rest of us showing that there is no place, ”says Roshan. The growing height of Malayalam cinema on the national stage, combined with its growing global footprint, has not made it complicated. If anything, Roshan believes that the bar is raised for all involved. “It pushes you to put your best work in everything because the standard is very high,” he insists. As Malayalam cinema continues a new chapter in the history of Indian filmmaking, it seems that all are in place for veterans and newcomers, interiors and external, all are united by a commitment to bold, boundary-bound-washed cinema.
