New Delhi: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, in which former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru targeted the 1962 Indo-China war operations. Referring to Nehru’s appeals during the struggle, Dubey said, “Nehru kept pleading for help.”The comment came in response to the criticism of the Congress Party’s Foreign Minister’s Jaishankar, which was to “inform” Pakistan about Operation Sindoor. In vengeance, Dubey took the X to highlight the X, which he called the faulty foreign policy of the previous Congress governments, especially under Nehru.Dubey then posted a letter written by Nehru to US President John F. Kennedy, “Iron Lady’s father Nehru ji called the second letter written to the US President during the China war. He pleaded for help. ,Satirely attacking Nehru’s diplomatic approach, Dubey said, “Pakistan is a brother, a friend, a good neighbor, we will reach an agreement with him, everything was written. But read it carefully.”According to Dubey, the US then passed Nehru’s letter to Pakistani military ruler Ayub Khan. “America sent this letter to Pakistan’s military ruler Ayub Khan. After seeing this letter, did we give Pakistan a chance to attack India in 1965? What can be said about the person who tells the weaknesses of the country to foreigners, especially Pakistan?”Earlier, in the day, Dubey also replied to the post of Congress leader Pawan Kirra on X by digging further in history. He mentioned another letter to British Prime Minister Clement Atallie in the 1945 communication of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
