Asia Cup 2025: India, Pakistan was placed in the same group; To face 14 September – complete list of fixtures | Cricket news

The Asian Cricket Council has officially confirmed that the 2025 men’s T20 Asia Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 28 September. Eight teams will be seen in action in this year’s tournament, making it the largest version. In a major talk point, staunch rival India and Pakistan are placed in the same group. Both teams have been designed for a confrontation on 14 September, a match that is already being billed as one of the biggest fixtures of the year. India will launch its campaign against the UAE on 10 September, followed by a game against Pakistan and Oman. ACC President Mohsin Naqvi said that hosting the tournament in the UAE will bring Asia fans together. He also highlighted the importance of giving more teams a platform to compete at the highest level.

Asia Cup full stability
The Asia Cup will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although Pakistan is an official host, the BCCI had earlier agreed to take the event to a neutral site. This is in line with the ACC’s long -standing policy when India or Pakistan host hosts.

Super four phase stability
India is a defending champion, who has won the 2023 title under Rohit Sharma. The version will also serve as the preparation of the ICC T20 World Cup in February 2026, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka.
