August 5 is the ‘Mass Adfony day’

Dhaka: Bangladesh will see August 5 as ‘Mass Rebel Day’ to mark the movement due to the removal of Sheikh Hasina government last year. The interim government, however, withdrew its decision to dedicate Muhammad Yunus’s major acting administration after criticizing various quarters on Sunday to celebrate its decision. Yunus took over as Chief Advisor on August 8, three days after the Awami League government and former PM Hasina resigned and flee to India. Under the chairmanship of Yuns, after a meeting by the Council of Advisors, Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said, “There will be no special celebration for August 8 as no ‘Natun Bangladesh Dams (New Bangladesh Day) will be there.”
