‘Balochistan will never be a part of Pakistan’: BNM leaders after major attacks on Pakistan Army; Claim ‘Operation Bam’ is just the beginning

Baloch National Movement (BNM) Information Secretary Qazi Dad Mohammad Rehan said on Sunday that Balochistan “would never be a part of Pakistan,” as he spoke on the launch of “Operation Bam” – a series of coordinated armed attacks targeting the Pakistan Army.Rehan made this statement during a special interview with news agency ANI.The operation started on Tuesday night and performed in major districts including Panjgur, Surab, Katch and Kharan. The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has called it a strategic change in its armed resistance, which aims to destroy Pakistan’s military presence in the region.“Operation Bam, which means ‘Don,’ symbolizes a significant change in our struggle. He said, “We are the first party to boycott Pakistani Parliament. We have made it clear, we do not want to live under Pakistani rule. Our fight is for complete freedom, not for limited autonomy or token rights within Pakistan,” he said.Rehan discovered the roots of conflict in 1948, when Balochistan was attached by Pakistan. “Our people protested from day one. The tribal leadership was the initial force behind the rebellion. He said, “Arabs have been put into our land, but Baloch people are poor, oppressed and scattered with their resources,” he said. “Balochistan belongs to Baloch, not for any other part of Punjab or Pakistan.”In addition, Rehan appealed to the global community. “The world must understand that Balochistan’s struggle is just and indispensable. Operation Bam is the beginning of our fresh push for freedom.”
Operation ‘Bam’
One of the most coordinated crimes in recent years, BLF launched the “Operation Bam” late on Tuesday, targeted military and government sites in several districts of Balochistan. At least 17 attacks in Panjgur, Sureb, Ketch and Kharan, communication networks, administrative buildings and military posts.
