‘Baseless and inspired’: India smelled Pakistan’s comment on new Waqf Law

New Delhi: The Government of India on Tuesday dismissed Pakistani disappointment comment on the new Waqf Act as “basal and motivated”.
The Ministry of External Affairs said that Islamabad had “no local standy to comment on a case” and the Pakistani government should look into its own aristocratic records.
“We strongly reject the motivated and baseless comments made by Pakistan on the Waqf Amendment Act enacted by the Parliament of India. Pakistan has no folk studi to comment on a better working case to see its own disgusting records to see its own disgusting records for India internally to India.”
Earlier, the Pakistani government had asked the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025 in the Indian Lok Sabha to “remove Muslims from its properties including mosques and temples and to keep minorities marginalized”.
The WAQF (Amendment) Bill 2025 aims to amend the WAQF Act, 1995 to face the WAQF Act, 1995 to face the challenges in the regulation and inspection of the WAQF properties.

- Increase the role of technology in managing Waqf record
Along with this law, Parliament also approved the Muslim WAKF (Real) Bill, 2025, which revokes the Wakf Act of 1923, which aims to eliminate the old provisions.
