New Delhi: Pictures of Shweta Khan, also known as Fultusi, are accused of running a porn racket in Howrah district of West Bengal, with many Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders online. This has created a political controversy, the BJP attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government and questioned its attitude on the safety of women. Shweta Khan and her son, Aryan, allegedly operated a film production house, where “soft pornographic reel” was created. Last week, both the police hid after the police started searching for the forced detention and attack of a woman in Domjur area of Howrah district. The woman was allegedly targeted after refusing to act in a pornographic film. It is said that Fultusi has shown her political relations on social media to influence people in her area. Meanwhile, investigators said on Monday that the accused mother-son pair probably ran abroad for Thailand, based on initial findings.The news agency PTI said, “The accused woman had visited the bank several times and withdrew the money. It seems that the fund was used to facilitate their plan to abscond. We suspect that the woman and her son have run to Bangkok.”
