Ratan Tata leaves more than 3 CR for home and office staff

Mumbai: Ratan Tata has left about Rs 3.5 crore in his house and has helped office staff from car cleaner to Peen’s. The late industrialist also waived an extended loan for his employees and even a neighbor members.
Tata, who died in October 2024, also directed the executives of their will to distribute Rs 15 lakh from their assets, who were with him for more than seven years in years of service. He also directed him to distribute Rs 1 lakh to part -time assistants and car cleaner.
All his clothes – they wore brands such as Duck, Polo, Brooks Brothers, Brian Suit, Hermes Relations – would be given to distribute them to deprive NGOs.
He gave his long -time Cook Rajan Shaw (including a loan waiver of Rs 51 lakh), Butler Subbaiya Konar (including loan waiver of Rs 36 lakh) and Secretary Delnaz Guilder, including Rs 10 lakh, gave more than Rs 1 crore.

He canceled a loan of Rs 1 crore given to his Executive Assistant Shantanu Naidu for his MBA Studies at Cornell University, as reported by TOI in his October 25, 2024 edition. He gave Rs 1.5 lakh to his driver Raju Leone and wrote a loan of Rs 18 lakh.
On February 23, 2022, his dated, Ratan Tata said: “I direct my executives that they will not take any steps to recover the loan (from Shaw, Conar, and Raju Leone) and the same will not be considered because of my property. I direct that the loan amount will be considered as a will for the worried servants/drivers.”

Tata also waived a loan of Rs 23.7-lakh to his neighbor Jake Malite for his MBA at Warwick Business School in Britain. Currently, the malaits in Switzerland were with the American aerospace manufacturer Prat and Whitney, as shown in the one year old LinkedIn Post.
One-third of Tata’s residual assets (except shares and immovable properties) was given to former-taz employee Mohini Dutta. The land of his Seychelles of Rs 85 lakh was given for RNT Associates, a Singapore-registrated Fund, whose shareholders include trustee R Venkatmann and former Tata Trust of Patrick McGoldric, CEO of former Tata Technologies.
RNT’s two step sisters, Shirin Jejeebhoy and Deanna Jejeebhoy (which each will receive one-third of their residual assets), friend Mehli Mistry (recipient of Alibag Bungalow), and Tata Trustee Daryas Khambata are the executive of their will. Each executor will receive Rs 5 lakh as appreciation to dedicate his time and effort to execute the will.
The late industrialist had also ensured that their funeral and subsequent expenses were met with their property. According to executives, the funeral cost of the funeral was Rs 2,500.
