London: Trying to stay fit with a run through Central Park, a jog and bicycle ride around a tropical island, Bodyguards in Sweden unknowingly revealed secret places of Swedish leaders, which were assigned to save them.An investigation by the Swedish newspaper revealed the bodyguards for the Sweden’s royal family and PM Ulf Christson uploaded his workout route to a straw, a fitness app, which allows users to map and share their movements. The popular app has created a global social media community, but the enthusiastic uploads of users have also raised questions about data privacy, especially among security personnel.In Sweden, data suggests that the security concerns of a country were added, recently called “the task of sabotage” against an undersige cable. This week, the Swedish Daily Newspaper Dagin Nyhetor reported that it tracked more than 1,400 workouts by seven bodyguards compared to last year. The figures featured trained bodyguards in Alps with Ukraine border with Poland and at a military base in the gardener. Sweden’s security police confirmed that the data was connected to some employees of the secret service.His routes gave the address of PM’s private residence. Strava data revealed a high-level meeting in Norway in June 2024, at the time unannounced, between Christonson and leaders of Norway and Finland. Sweden’s security police said it was investigating the impact of the promoted data. “To be clear, the user data has not been leak or violated,” a Strava spokesman said in a statement on Friday.
