New Delhi: India has successfully carried out the UAV flight trial, launched an accurate guided missile (ULPGM) -V3 in the National Open Area Range (NOAR), which is a test range in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the team and said that it proves that the Indian industry is now ready to absorb and produce important defense technologies.

  • Adani And India Dynamics Limited (BDL) is the major construction partner for the ULPGM project, while DRDO is responsible for the development and testing of mutations.
  • There are three known ulpgm variants: Ulpgm V1 (Baseline), Ulpgm V2 (Production version, also known as ulpgm), and Ulpgm V3 (extended-oriented variants, also known as ULM-C).
  • The primary difference between V1, V2, and V3 lies in guidance systems, performance and increase in range.
