Al-Dosh, a British citizen, was arrested in August 2024 at a Riyadh Airport, while trying to travel to Manchester, England with his family. His wife has since given birth to his fourth child. Al-Dosha’s wife, Amhar Noor, said in front of her husband’s sentence, “I rarely talk to my husband, but in some snatching conversations, it is clear that Ahmed is struggling.” The development came when US President Donald Trump was in Saudi Arabia, where many double citizens with Western relations and Saudi have been detained in social media positions in recent years, which can be seen as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Dear Facto ruler of the country.
