Bronx Newborn twins: Monster Mom was arrested after 5 years; ‘Never seen such a case’ detectives say

A Bronx woman has been arrested for killing her 2020 newborn twin sons, whose bodies were dumped into a rat -infected street. 36 -year -old Stephanie Castiloo was accused of several murder cases on Friday, when DNA connected him to a crime with a renunciated drink container, sources told The New York Post. Twin Boys, later named Zeke and Zane by NYPD authorities, were found dead in Clairemont in November 2020. Investigators never abandoned the case, and the newly opened forensic evidence recognized Castillo as his biological mother. NYPD assistant head Michael Baldasano said, “There was a funeral for these two children in our detectives.” “Every year they had a memorial for these two children. They never stopped taking care of the matter.” Castillo is now facing allegations of killing first and second degree in both deaths, as well as counting of murder with intentions and murder. Rainford Cole, 75, Building Superintendent, who found the bodies, said that the arrest has given him peace. “Hey man. This is really a big burden, lifted from my mind, a big weight,” he said. “I am very happy to know that they find the person because they were children, innocent children.”“I am going to sleep better tonight,” he said.
