The advanced voter polling sharing process ensured that the rapid availability of the estimated polling trends ensured that the Presiding Officer updated the voter polling data close to the polling before leaving the polling station. Webcasting facility at almost all polling stations helped ensure continuous vigilance of the polling process. The special summary amendment (SSR) of the electoral roll was held for the first time in about two decades before a by-power.The successful implementation of the above measures in By-Polls paves the way for their replica in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.For the first time, simple pigeon boxes or jute bags were provided at the entrance of polling stations to enable voters to submit their mobile phones before queuing to vote.
