Grandmaster Konu Hampi and 19 -year -old Divya Deshmukh on Tuesday performed strongly to attract their Chinese opponents in the first game of the Fid Women’s World Cup semi -finals. Hampi played with black pieces, placed China’s Tingji Lei in a comfortable draw, while Divya’s solid defense refused to win former female world champion Jongsi Tan.
