Chinese flash flood: 9 dead in inner Mongolia; Join more than 700 immediate rescue missions
State media said on Sunday that nine people have died and three are missing after a flash flood in the interior Mongolia, China.According to the Xinhua news agency, a group of 13 people were camping outside in Urat rear banner in Inner Mongolia, when the floods took place around 10 pm (1400 grams) on Saturday. By Sunday afternoon, a person was rescued, while more than 700 workers were searching for “immediate” disappearance.The Ministry of Emergency Management has directed a full -scale rescue operations, called to confirm the status of missing persons, and state broadcast CCTV cited by AFP reported that a working team has been sent to the site.Natural disasters are common in China, especially during the summer months, when some areas receive heavy rains, while others tolerate excessive heat.
