Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Russia on 7 May

China has repeatedly presented itself as a neutral party in the ongoing war, which began in February 2022 with an invasion of Russia’s Ukraine. However, many Western governments argue that Beijing’s close relationship with Moscow, especially in trade and diplomacy, indirectly help Russia to maintain its war attempt.
The two countries have repeatedly criticized what they describe as “Western Heme”, especially in global affairs, American dominance, and Russia declared a “no limit” partnership a few weeks before the invasion of Ukraine.
