In response to the post, the Iranian embassy said that the Department of Consular Affairs of Iran’s Foreign Ministry is following the case. The embassy said in a post on X on Thursday, “A case related to the disappearance of three Indian citizens is being done in coordination with the relevant judicial officials by the Department of Consular Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” “The Embassy of the Republic of India in Tehran is also being informed about the action within the Judicial System of Iran’s Islamic Republic through coordination with the Department of Consular Affairs. Given the nature of this incident, Indian citizens are strongly advised not to cheat from the promises of informal persons or illegal Indian agencies.” Earlier on Wednesday, the Indian Embassy in Tehran said that family members of missing persons approached the mission with concerns about their sudden disappearance of their relatives. “Family members of 3 Indian citizens have informed India’s embassy that their relatives are missing after visiting Iran,” the statement said. The reaction stated, the embassy “strongly raised the matter”, urged to immediately and thoroughly investigate their hideout. ,Although the identity of missing persons has not been disclosed at this time, authorities assured that they are maintaining continuous communication with families and updating them on developments. “We are also updating the efforts being made by the embassy to family members,” said this.The embassy has strongly handled the matter with Iranian officials and requested that the missing Indians should be immediately detected and ensured their safety, ”the statement states.
