The Bangladesh Police on Tuesday presented a charge sheet against 38 people, including Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das, in connection with the murder of lawyer Cellful Islam Alif. On 26 November last year, the court refused to bail Das in a separate segment case, ordering his detention. After the hearing, at least 20 people were injured in violent clashes between their supporters and law enforcement personnel near the court premises, during which Saiful was hacked. Of the 38 people nominated in the charge sheet, 20, 20, including slaves, are in custody, while the rest are absconding. The charge sheet was presented to the court prosecution wing.
