CM Dhami met the representatives of the youth, Mahila Mangal Dal; Announcement of encouragement | Bharat News

On Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held talks with the representatives of the youth and Mahila Mangal Dalal across the state under the Chief Minister Sevak Samvad held at the Chief Minister Sevak Sadan at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced that the incentive amount given to Mangal Dal will be increased from four thousand rupees to five thousand rupees. A policy will be established to make Mars pulses self -sufficient and provide loan facility. Additionally, Mangal Dal will be trained under the Digital Mission. The Chief Minister appreciated the work being done by Mangal Dal in areas like social service, cultural protection and disaster management. “Mangal Dal is playing an important role in furthering the culture and traditions of Uttarakhand,” saying, “Mangal Dal plays the role of ‘first reply’ during disasters and is also at the forefront of public awareness campaigns.”The Chief Minister said that the state government is running several schemes to empower Mangal Dal. CM Dhami commented, “Financial assistance ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 3.5 lakh is being provided to Mars pulses for self-employment.” Additionally, he announced that a provision of Rs 5 crore has been made under the Chief Minister’s Youth Mangal Dal Swavalamban Yojana; More than Rs 2 crore under the Chief Minister’s Rural Sports and Health Promotion Scheme, and Rs 60 crore under the Chief Minister’s Self-Employment Scheme. It was further informed that an amount of Rs 10 crore has been arranged under the Chief Minister’s stay prevention scheme. A provision of more than Rs 21 crore has been made under the Pandit Desayal Upadhyay Rural Kaushal Yojana for technical and vocational training of youth. The Chief Minister said that the state government is also constantly making efforts to promote folk culture and financial assistance is being provided for organizing local fairs and festivals.
