Guwahati: In Assam’s Dhubri Town, officials have issued a shoot-on-vision order at night and arrested 38 people from Friday, which took place after communal unrest from the discovery of cattle heads outside the two temples during Eid and the next day Eid.Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the arrest on X on Saturday. He visited Dhubri to assess the flare and said that the posters of a separatist group were found in the area by calling themselves Nabin Bungalow. The group called for the merger of the district with Bangladesh.Dhubri SSP Naveen Singh has been transferred. Leena Doli has taken over as tension in the border city near Bangladesh. The security forces remain on high alert, and the authorities continued efforts to stop the violence.
