County Championship: India Extremely Khalil Ahmed ends his tenure with Essex due to personal reasons

Indian fast bowler Khalil Ahmed has abolished the tenure of his county championship with Essex prematurely after just two first -class matches, citing personal reasons. The left -handed pacer initially signed a two -month contract which included six first -class matches and a potentially 10 -day cup.Essex Cricket confirmed Ahmed’s departure and released an official statement: “Essex Cricket may confirm that Khalil Ahmed has decided to return home for personal reasons and will finish his time with the club. While we are disappointed to leave it, we are completely grateful to contribution with the US.,Essex’s signature came after his impressive performance in the second informal test against England Lions, where he claimed 4/70 figures.This development follows another recent return from county cricket, as Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gikwad also canceled his foreign deal with Yorkshire earlier this month for personal reasons.Ahmed’s international career with India includes 11 ODIs, during which he claimed an average of 15 wickets of 31.00 and the economy rate 5.81. His best ODI bowling figures are at 3/13, with his final appearance for India dating back in 2019.In domestic cricket, the 27 -year -old has established himself as a reliable artist for Rajasthan. After playing 20 first -class matches, he has scored 56 wickets on an average of 27.67, his best figures are 5/37.The 2016 World Cup was part of India’s Under -19 squad, which is expected to be in controversy for selection in the upcoming Inter -Zonal Dilip Trophy. The tournament will mark the onset of India’s domestic red ball season on August 28.
