By May 22, there were 257 active cases across the country.Official sources said that the state and district monitoring teams are actively tracking cases of diseases like influenza (ILI) and serious acute respiratory disease (SARI) under the integrated disease monitoring program.“As per the guidelines as per the guidelines, the testing for all admitted saree cases and 5 percent ILI cases is recommended, and positive SARI samples are sent to the entire genome sequencing through the ICMR VRDL network,” said the official source quoted. Technical review meetings were held on 2 and 3 June, headed by Director General of Health Services Sunita Sharma to assess the efforts of status and readiness.
