New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday slammed the Enforcement Directorate on the raid of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) and said that the ED is crossing all boundaries.India’s Chief Justice BR Gawai and Justice AG Masi, a bench, expressed strong concern about the actions of the ED, repeating three times that the agency was more than the boundaries.“Ed is crossing all borders,” the top court said before the state -run liquor retail vendor was raided after Ed.“The Enforcement Directorate is violating the federal principle, how it can print on Tasmac,” SC asked.The bench gave Ed a fortnight to present its response. The enforcement agency said that the case included adequate financial misconduct.The migration was given in response to a petition filed by the Tamil Nadu government to challenge the ED raids.
