Cyber attack? Flights at United Airlines US Airports; Hundreds of flights were affected

The United Airlines temporarily base all its mainline flights on Wednesday evening due to a technical issue, the carrier confirmed. So far, 827 flights have been delayed and 23 have been canceled. Airlines confirmed that this is not a cyber attack, ABC News said. Ground stop United Express does not affect flights, and according to the airlines, already any flight in the air will continue its destination. Several FAA notices have confirmed that United Airlines has requested a ground stop in major hubs including Newark, San Francisco, Denver, Houston and Chicago. Angela Jeffers, a passenger who delayed the flight from Nashville to Denver by two hours, said the pilot informed the passengers about a system outage.
