His presence left him so strange that he struggled to remember his lines, while he, who knew that effect on him, was enjoying that moment.In the same interview, Shami Kapoor reflected how Madhubala was already romantically associated with Dilip Kumar and Prem Nath. Despite knowing that she was in love, she admitted that she could not stop herself from falling for her. Nevertheless, his feelings for Madhubala were intense and undisputed.Shammi Kapoor eventually married fellow actor Geeta Bali, one of the prominent stars of that era. A practical and ground man, she loved Shammi deeply, but was reluctant to marry her out of anxiety for her family’s dependence on her.Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali married in 1955 and had two children- Aditya Raj Kapoor and Kanchan. Shammi died on August 14, 2011.
