FBI Director Kash Patel has created a batch of documents claiming “dangerous allegations” about foreign intervention in the US presidential election of 2020.“The FBI has located documents that expand allegations related to the 2020 US election, including CCP intervention allegations. I immediately rejected the material and replaced the documents to Chairman Grassley for further review, “Patel tweeted.According to BBC, a statement by the office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) before the 2020 election warned that China, Russia and Iran were in countries that were trying to influence the election results through both open and secret methods.William Ivanina, the head of the National Counter Eminence and Security Center (NCSC), said that China was considered to oppose Donald Trump’s re -election and was working to expand its impact in the United States. On the other hand, Russia was accused of attempting to damage Biden’s candidature, partly by spreading disintegration on social media and Russian TV. Iran was also asked to engage in efforts to create confusion and weaken democratic institutions. Asked about the intervention report during a press conference, President Trump said that his administration would “very closely” to check the claims. He said that he did not believe that Russia wanted to win him, arguing that his administration had taken the most difficult stance against Moscow compared to any other. Since starting his second term in January 2025, Trump has taken steps and comments that suggests a friendly approach to Russia compared to the first US administration.
