Hazribagh: A Maoist surrendered in Hazaribagh Jail in Jharkhand since 2021, he allegedly died of suicide in his sale on Saturday.Jail Superintendent Jitendra Kumar said that Cheta Shyamlal Dehri alias Santau alias Somalal was recorded in ward number 3, which was used to hang himself from the roof fan hook. The jail administration came to know about this during the morning count, he said. Shyamlal, a resident of Kathikund in Dumka district, had eight criminal cases against him.
