DGCA suspended Akasa pilot for 6 months India News

New Delhi: Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended a specified examiner (DE) of Akasa for six months after violation of rules in pilot skills testing. The airline says it voluntarily explained the violation to the regulator. A spokesperson for an Akasa Air said: “Akasa is extremely priority to keep safety in mind. Every nominated examiner (D) and every other employee of the company in their highest form, at all times, Akasa, the primary purpose of any D in Akasa is to ensure that all training and assessment meets advocates without any fear and security.,The DGCA order on July 29 states: “(Pilot )’s day approval is ordered for a period of six months, effective from the date of this order,” written in July 29, 2025 July, 2025.
