Dhaka: A Bangladesh court on Thursday denied Chinmoy Krishna Das, a prominent Hindu monk and a prominent Bangladesh monk and Bangladesh spokesperson Sanatani Aware Jot, in connection with the five cases filed against him, was involved in the alleged murder of the chatogram court lawyer Celiful Islam Alif.Local media said the Chatogram Metropolitan Sessions Court Judge Hasanul Islam passed the order after a hearing, dismissing the bail application. The Metropolitan Sessions Court Assistant Public Prosecutor, Advocate Ryanul Wazed Chaudhary said, “He was produced before the court amid tight security, and after hearing, he was sent back to jail”. Das was represented by a team of lawyers under the leadership of Senior Advocate Apoorba Kumar Bhattacharya.
