The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday expressed deep grief after the tragic accident of the F -7 BGI training aircraft colliding with Mestone School and College in the north area of Dhaka. Effect created widespread panic in the neighborhood as emergency response teams, including firefighting services and military rescue squads, reached the spot. Footage from the site increased thick smoke from the school premises as the authorities worked to vacate and assist the injured.

A spokesperson of the Milestone School and College said, “The aircraft fell at the gate and crashed nearby. There was a category of session where the plane crashed. The injured are being taken out one by one.”Bangladesh Army officials confirmed that the jet belonged to the Air Force, but has not yet released the details of what is the cause of the accident or whether it managed to evict the pilot.Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed condolences on X, wrote, “In a tragic air accident in Dhaka, many of them surprise and unhappy at the loss of life. Our hearts go out for bereaved families. We pray for the fast recovery of those injured.Authorities have initiated a complete investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
