Dino Moriya was called by the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in connection with the dysing scam of the Mithi River. The actor was seen appearing in the EOV for questioning, but he was hiding his face with a mask and avoiding cameras. The video was shared by ANI in which it was also reported that the actor was also questioned for seven hours on Tuesday.The tweet states, “Actor Dino Moriya reaches the Eve office in Mumbai. He is being questioned in connection with the Miti River Cleaning Scam. Earlier, the authorities questioned Dino Moriya for about 7 hours yesterday.”The actor was seen in a white shirt and blue jeans.The case is around alleged misuse of over 65 crores, basically the funds for cleaning and maintaining the Mithi River – a significant drainage artery in Mumbai, especially for the city’s monsoon flood management.According to investigative reports, the scam includes the fees inflated for the fare of dragging and silt-calculating equipment. It has been alleged that BMC officials along with Kadam and J Joshi overbuated the civic body for machinery obtained from Kochi-based matpopp-technical services private. Ltd.According to a report in PTI, the seating of the Economic Wing of Economic Offenses is investigating the scam, in which the Bhanambhi Municipal Corporation has suffered a wrong loss of more than Rs 50 crore. On 3 May, the Mumbai Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) registered a case against 13 persons including contractors and civil officials in connection with the scam and started discoveries in the premises of the accused.Meanwhile, Dino was also seen at the trailer launch of ‘Housefull 5’ in Mumbai yesterday. Members of other artists seen in the event included Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritish Deshmukh, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Chintrangada Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Ferdin Khan.
