Anil Kapoor, who was captured by Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Ek Do Teen’ in Teeja, convinced Javed Akhtar to make a male version. This perseverance included the song sung by Amit Kumar, which was shot in Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, which was used as Anupam Kher’s house in the film.

Anil Kapoor once revealed on the Kapil Sharma Show that acid originally portrayed only Madhuri Dixit’s prestigious song ‘Ek Do Teen’, but he persuaded Javed Akhtar to write a male version for him, which was later added to the film.At the Kapil Sharma Show, Anil first recalled his response after hearing ‘Ek Do Teen’ from Tezab. Impressed by how attractive and powerful the track was, he immediately realized that it would be a superhit and told composer Laxmikant that he also wanted to do a version of it.The actor revealed that after being impressed by ‘Ek Do Teen’, he insisted on adding a male version to acid. Although composer Laxmikant initially protested, Anil pushed for it, saying that it was a woman to be single, and assured lyricist Javed Akhtar to write new songs. He praised Javed’s talent and persuaded him to work, even though the song was not originally in the script. Anil proudly shared that he was included through a sheer determination to the male version.Anil appeared in Kapil Sharma Show Season 2 to promote his film Thar, which was joined by co-star Mukti Mohan, Satish Kaushik and director Raj Singh Chaudhary.
