Anil Kapoor once revealed on the Kapil Sharma Show that acid originally portrayed only Madhuri Dixit’s prestigious song ‘Ek Do Teen’, but he persuaded Javed Akhtar to write a male version for him, which was later added to the film.At the Kapil Sharma Show, Anil first recalled his response after hearing ‘Ek Do Teen’ from Tezab. Impressed by how attractive and powerful the track was, he immediately realized that it would be a superhit and told composer Laxmikant that he also wanted to do a version of it.The actor revealed that after being impressed by ‘Ek Do Teen’, he insisted on adding a male version to acid. Although composer Laxmikant initially protested, Anil pushed for it, saying that it was a woman to be single, and assured lyricist Javed Akhtar to write new songs. He praised Javed’s talent and persuaded him to work, even though the song was not originally in the script.
