Donald Trump’s head of the US private sector delegation amidst the dangers of buying islands

US President Donald Trump is firm to enacted Greenland, despite his unsuccessful efforts to implement diplomatic pressure in recent months.
Now, a private sector delegation led by the Trump administration is going to detect opportunities for investment in rich natural resources of the island and to inject important capital in the region, according to the Reuters.
The move came after the earlier efforts to acquire Greenland through Trump’s diplomatic channels, strongly rejected by both Greenland and Denmark.
Since Trump’s chairmanship began in January, American interest in Greenland, which remains under Danish sovereignty, has intensified by creating diplomatic friction with Copenhagen.
If Denmark “refuses to sell”, Trump has not denied the use of military force to acquire Greenland.
The American private sector is trying to invest in abundant natural resources of Greenland, especially its rare earth mineral deposits. Time aligns with recent political changes, as Jens-Frederick Nielsen has played the role of Prime Minister in the Arctic region.
This delegation of private sector representatives is traveling its inaugural visit on the Arctic island after Jens-Frederick Nielsen’s election victory, represents the Democratit Party-friendly Democrats party as a new premiere.
The delegation, led by CEO of Drew Horn -CEO -Greenmate and a former Energy Officer under Trump -includes representatives of companies such as Critical Metals Corp, Caugency Power, American Renewable Metals and Refacture.
Supported by major institutional investors such as the Cerberus Capital Management and Cantor Fitzgerald, the group aims to promote the presence of the American private sector in Greenland.
Horn told Reuters, “I am not trying to do anything crazy like an orchestrate like the purchase or acquisition of Greenland by the United States.”
He said, “We are only doing traditional private sector trade development,” he said, his consortium consists of installed investors such as Cerberus Capital Management and Cantor Fitzgerald.
This journey occurs immediately after a visit to King Frederick of Denmark, which symbolizes continuous unity between Greenland and its pre -colonial power. Nielsen has called for a strong international relationship confirming Greenland’s relationship with Denmark.
Interested in Greenland has increased since taking over as Trump, which is powered by a huge deposits of rare earth elements and islands of other minerals, possibly worth trillions. The mining region of Greenland is potentially worth trillions in mineral deposits, currently dominated by Australian, Canadian and British firms with minimal American participation.
Horn further stated that an increase in private sector can increase cooperation in an independent Greenland supported by American private development. The delegation’s journey program involves visiting the tanbrees mining site, amidst the world’s largest rare earth deposits.
