‘Dosha in our system’: Shashi Tharoor weighs on SC Dog Relocation Order; Registration of money for NGOs. Bharat News

New Delhi: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor urged to revive all stray dogs in Delhi-NCR on the order of the Supreme Court, suggests that money for dog management should be broadcast to reliable animal welfare organizations instead of municipalities. He said that despite the actual issue being available, the municipal failure lies in effectively using the allocated funds. In a post on X on Wednesday, Tharoor wrote, “We need to protect humans while being human for dogs. But there is no mention of a point that there is no lack of defect resources in our system, but the municipalities are reluctant or disability, even when the money has been provided, to do the work of circling and naughty when the money has been provided. These funds are never actually spent where required – in creating arrangements that SC, in understandable boycott, have now taken decisions.,He suggested an alternative approach, “Perhaps the amount should be allocated to animal welfare groups and honestly allocated to NGOs with track records of sheltering animals? They are more likely to implement the ABC program than municipalities.”Tharoor’s comment came in response to a post of Advocate Ashutosh Dubey, who criticized TMC MP Saket Gokhale for urging the apex court. Dubey highlighted that the Supreme Court had exercised its constitutional powers under articles 32 and 142 to balance public safety with administrative responsibility, rejecting the “arbitrary” label for the ruling. He cited the years of the municipality, which is the prevention of prevention of Animal ACT, Delhi Municipal Corporation Act and ABC rules.Tharoor described Dubey’s comments as a “thoughtful response” to the problem affecting citizens in every city. The order of the Supreme Court issued on Monday instructs officers to permanently transfer all stray dogs in Delhi-NCR to shelters, where animals will receive food, medical care and attention. The court described an increase in dog bites incidents as a “extremely serious” situation.A bench of Justices JB Pardwala and R Mahadan directed the authorities to build shelters for about 5,000 dogs within six to eight weeks, placing to expand the stages. The court warned that any obstacle in the rehabilitation drive can invite contempt proceedings against individuals or organizations.
