Dwarka Fire Horror: Dude, 2 children die after jumping to escape the 8th floor; Wife, elder son alive | Delhi News

New Delhi: A large -scale fire in a highrise in Dwarka Sector 13 on Tuesday morning claimed the lives of a man and his two young children, who jumped from their eighth floor flat in a desperate attempt to escape the flames.The deceased has been identified as 35 -year -old Yash Yadav, in the Flex board business, his 10 -year -old son and young daughter. Yadav, along with his two children, Jumped from the balcony of his house in the Shabad society as the fire intensified. The three were rushed to IGI Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Yadav’s wife and elder sons survived the incident. They managed to avoid the blast and are currently undergoing treatment.The fire broke out between the eighth and ninth floors of the building at around 9.58 am. Delhi Fire Services (DFS) deployed 13 fire tenders and 88 firefighters and controlled the explosion and excluded the withdrawal.While the exact cause of the fire is unknown, the authorities confirmed that all other residents were vacated. As a safety measure, natural gas (PNG) connections for the power supply and building were cut off.The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the Municipal Corporation’s Delhi Corporation (MCD) have been informed to assess the structural integrity of the post -building fire. Support teams in Aacash and IGI hospitals have also been deployed to assist the members of the bereaved and injured family.
