New Delhi: Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone marked the 70th birthday of her father and badminton veteran Prakash Padukone on Tuesday with heartfelt tribute. In a press release shared through Instagram, he highlighted a major achievement of Padukone School of Badminton (PSB), announcing that the institution has now established more than 75 coaching centers in 18 cities in India, Sangli, and Surat.Deepika said that the school expects to bring badminton enjoyment and discipline for people from all areas of life. “In her heartiest Instagram post, she wishes her father a birthday and wrote, “As someone plays the role of badminton, I have experienced for the first time how much the game can give someone’s life – physical, mentally and emotionally. The same press release also gave a statement by PSB patron and advisor, Prakash Padukone, who shared his vision for the initiative.“Sports are an integral part of being large – it inspires discipline, flexibility and a winning mentality that extends well beyond the court. With PSB, our goal is to nourish quality coaching accessible and cheap, ground talent, and establish a strong foundation for the future of Indian badminton,” said the Padmukone.

According to the release, PSB collaborates with schools, institutions and existing places, which to establish academies at the ground level feeding at its major training program in three high performance centers of excellence in Bengaluru.
