New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday carried forward his attack on the Election Commission of India, as he called “Vote Chori” in the recently concluded elections, in which he called “Vote Chori”, in which his party was beyond the popular predictions. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Election Commission has asked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to submit a formal announcement, supporting the claim of his “vote chori” (vote theft), as well as allegedly incorrectly included in the voter list with the names of the electioner to initiate necessary action. Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) is expecting an announcement and oath signed from Rahul Gandhi till this evening, sources told TOI. Saying that the electoral roll was prepared in a transparent manner, the Karnataka Pol body said: “The election results can be questioned only through the election petition before the Hon’ble High Court”. The Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka wrote in a letter to Rahul Gandhi, “You are requested to sign and refund the declaration/oath attached under Rule 20 (3) (B), with the names of such voter rules (s), the rules of 1960 voters, so that the necessary action can be initiated,” Karnataka’s Chief Electoral Officer wrote in the letter to Rahul Gandhi. The declaration form attached to the letter stated that submission of false evidence is punishable under Section 227 of BNS, and also that a wrong announcement regarding electoral rolls is punishable under Section 31 of the Representation of the People Act 1950.Rahul Gandhi hit back to ECIReacting to the Election Commission, Rahul said: “I am publicly asking everyone.
