Ed detained Bluusmart’s Puneet Jaggi

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday detained Puneet Jaggi, one of the Gensol Engineering promoters, who operated a money-laundering investigation, who operated Bluusmart Cab Services to question him on violation of the alleged Forex Management Act. The investigation is to find out if Gennsol has sought funds to get foreign currency.
While Puneet was picked up from a hotel in Delhi, during the searches made by the agency at several places in Delhi, Gurgaon and Ahmedabad, his brother and co-pomprooter are considered Anmol Jaggi, it is believed that he is out of the country and will be called for questioning soon.
Jaggi Brothers stopped working in the stock market first
The Jaggi brothers were previously barred from working in the stock market, when regulator SEBI found that the promoters had removed the company’s fund for personal gains, including purchasing property in Gurgaon, more than Rs 45 crore for personal use.
Sources said Ed is waiting for an FIR, which is likely to be registered against the Jaggi brothers and their company, formally to register an inquiry under the PMLA, the sources said. Arrived on Thursday evening for comment, Gensol said his offices were closed for the day.
