Emirates has rapidly tracked the launch of its Airbus A350 on the Dubai-Maskat route, which offers daily flights before the schedule to accommodate the demand for summer travel. Basically the set to start from 1 July, the service began a week ago, offering passengers to relax, better connectivity and more sophisticated travel experience between UAE and Oman.

Customized time for global connection

The A350 service features overnight departure, strategically timed for facilitating further travel to major global sites:

  • Flight EK 866 departs from Dubai at 2:15 pm, reaches inside Muscat 3:30 pm
  • Return from Flight EK 867 Muscat at 4:40 am, landing in Dubai at 5:55 am

These time ensure smooth relations for the hub in Europe, Asia, Africa and America, especially for transit passengers.

Next generation comfort on A350

The new A350 aircraft offers three-class configurations with 312 seats:

  • 32 business class Lie-flat seats in 1-2-1 layout
  • 21 premium economy Seats arranged 2-3-2
  • 259 economy class seats in 3-3-3 layout

Passengers can enjoy:

  • Extensive corridors and high ceilings for more spacious cabins
  • Latest in-Flight Entertainment System of Emirates
  • High speed Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Increased seat ergonomics and modern lighting for additional comfort on small and medium-hall flights

Muscat between the first to get A350 in this region

Currently with seven A350 in its fleet, Emirates has deployed the aircraft to select destinations including Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Amman, Mumbai, Edinburgh, Tunis, Colombo and Ahmedabad. The initial inclusion of Muscat underlines the long -term commitment of Emirates for the Oman Bazaar. By the end of 2025, the Emirates aims to operate the A350 on 17 global routes, which supports its broad network expansion.

Additional flights to meet the demand for summer travel

To address peak summer journey, Emirates has also increased frequency on Dubai -Maskat route:

  • Flight EK 862 (couple service) departs from Dubai at 7:55 am, arrives at Muscat at 9:05 am
  • Return from Flight EK 863 Muscat at 11:25 am, landing in Dubai at 12:30 am

These additional Thursdays and Saturday flights provide more flexibility for weekend passengers and holidays.
