Emraan Hashmi opens about Hindi film news about son Ayan’s chess journey and international ranking

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi recently opened up about his son Ayan’s inspirational journey, both as a budding chess Avoid players and cancer. In a clear conversation, the actor shared how life has come in the full cycle for his family, which is marked by the victory of flexibility, hope and hard work of years.

During the conversation, Imran revealed that his son Ayan, who is now a teenager, is not only chasing chess only as chess, but has established himself as a competitive player with an international rating. “He now went to Europe for a tournament. So, he is enjoying it,” Imran shared proudly. Asked if Ayan was a professional considering chess, Imran clarified, “He is a chess player. He has got an international rating. Right now, he is around 1700. So, it goes up and down, but yes, he regularly competes in Mumbai, all over India and even abroad.”
The actor talked about how Ayan’s interest in chess is naturally blooming over time. “He just picked it up. He is someone who is such a habit for this, I think it started when he was very young and nurtured it. More than me, I think my wife has played an important role in pushing him for these tournaments and nurturing those skills,” Imran gave his wife Parveen to encourage his wife Parveen.
But this story of Vijay is not just about chess. Years ago, Ayan was detected of cancer at the age of four, a life-changing moment for the Hashmi family. Considering those testing times, Imran said, “I think we emerged as a unit than before. It was a learning. It was a learning. Five long, years of testing. We wanted to give back back through this experience. That’s why I wrote the book.”
Imran’s memoir Kiss of life: How a superhero and my son defeated cancer, their emotional fight, uncertainty and final recovery. Through the book, Imran expected other parents, fighters and the survivors to motivate them to navigate a similar fight.
