‘Endes Apna Apna’ re -released box office collection Day 2: The Aamir Khan, Salman Khan earns Rs 55 lakh on Saturday, while Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari 2’ dominates

Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ravena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor starrer ‘Ends Apna Apna’ was re -released in theaters on Friday, 25 April. The film was released with Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Ground Zero’. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol starrer ‘Jat’ and Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan’s ‘Kesari 2’ are already running in theaters.
However, ‘Endes Apna Apna’ is getting a great response as people come to theaters to see this creed classic. The film earned 25 lakh rupees on day 1 and saw an increase in day 2 which is Saturday. It earned 30 lakh rupees on day 2 and now according to Pinkvilla, the total collection of the film is 55 lakh rupees. The film sold 5500 tickets in the top three national series – Inox and Cinepolis for the early day and saw some increase on Saturday. Any increase in the number of Sundays can see a greater increase. Meanwhile, Akshay’s ‘Kesari 2’ is dominating all other releases like ‘Jat’ and ‘Ground Zero’ as it earned Rs 7 crore on Saturday.
When the film was originally released in 1994, it collected a lifetime of Rs 5.15 crore in India. The worldwide gross collection of the film was Rs 7.59 crore. This number is considered good because it was 30 years ago. Nevertheless, during that time, the film was considered a flop. But director Rajkumar Santoshi had said that the film could not be called failure because there were reasons why this was the reaction at the box office.
He said during a chat with Doordarshan some time ago, “I will not use harsh words, as it was a flop, it was not a flop. It did not find a response that we expected. Later, people started liking it. It started growing up with the word of the mouth and as it was growing with propaganda, till it was not believed as it was not believed by the distributors.
