England to host the next three World Test Championship Finals | Cricket news

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have gained hosting rights for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) finals in 2027, 2029 and 2031. The decision was confirmed at the ICC annual conference held in Singapore, which was recently recognized for its strong track record for hosting the global final.Among the major results of the conference, the ICC provided an update on its ongoing initiative to support the cricketers of displaced women of Afghan origin. The support program is being operated in collaboration with BCCI, ECB and Cricket Australia, and is maintained by ICC deputy chair Imran Khwaja.The objective of this initiative is to provide structured assistance including high-demonstration training, domestic sports opportunities and participation in major ICC global programs-like ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England 2026.In its statement about USA cricket, the ICC confirmed its earlier stance and said that the body is in notice. The USA cricket has been directed to fulfill the reforms of the three-month window, including free and impartial elections, including the operations. If necessary, the ICC board reserves the right to take further action.Meanwhile, Gurumurthy Palani (France Cricket), Anurag Bhatnagar (Cricket Hong Kong, China), and Gurdeep Claire (Cricket Canada) have been selected as an associate member of the ICC Chief Executive Officer Committee (CEC).
