Palaniswami of AIADMK General Secretary Edappdi on Monday reiterated that the AIADMK will make the government in itself after winning the 2026 assembly elections.The opposition leader has rejected a coalition government in Tamil Nadu, yet Union Minister Amit Shah said in a media interview that BJP will be part of the government in the state after 2026.“Our alliance will achieve a grand success in 2026. AIADMK will be victorious and will form a government automatically,” EPS said.Speaking to reporters in Salem, the EPS said, however, the AIADMK alliance was intact and stronger, and is the DMK alliance with many issues and changes between the Allies. “Instead of predicting the future of our alliance, Udayanidhi should focus on protecting the DMK alliance from a partition,” EPS said. He was responding to the comments of Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidhi Stalin. With eight months remaining till the election, EPS said that more parties would join the AIADMK alliance.He then killed Chief Minister MK Stalin for deputation to senior IAS officers for the ‘Angaludan Stalin’ program. The EPS alleged that the government was using the program as a trick to gather public phone numbers, which would be used by the DMK to reach voters during the election.He said that government officials have been asked to collect public phone numbers. “Later, they will use it to reach voters through DMK IT Wing and recruit them as party members,” he accused.He also alleged that the UNGALUDAN STALIN program was a political gimmick. “If the program was for the benefit of the people, what was the government doing for the last four and a half years? Does it mean that they did not work for the benefit of the people,” he asked.He then alleged that the opposition leader of Salem Municipal Corporation, Yadavamurthy, was thickened by DMK councilors to highlight the deficiencies in the civic body. Instead of taking action against the attackers, the victim is booked by the police, the EPS alleged. “This is Stalin’s model Sarkar,” he said.
