Epstein files: to question the Department of Justice on Ghishlin Maxwell; The lawyer says that ‘he will test the truth’

The US Department of Justice has planned to question Ghislane Maxwell, a close associate of convicted sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein, Amid increasing political pressure on the Trump administration on handling the case. Maxwell, a former British socialite, is currently serving a 20 -year sentence for smuggling minors for Epstein. Epstein died in 2019 while waiting for a trial in New York Jail. His death occurred a suicide. US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blancch said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump had ordered all “reliable evidence” related to Epstein case. Blancch said that the FBI had reviewed the available materials and so far no basis to investigate any unwanted person. However, he said that if Maxwell had information about others involved in crimes, the FBI and the Department of Justice were ready to listen.

The Department of Justice has planned to reach Ghislane Maxwell for a meeting about the Epstein dispute.

Blancch also confirmed that he was in touch with Maxwell’s legal team and was expected to meet him soon. Maxwell’s lawyer, David Oscar Marcus said on X that discussion was going on with the government. “Gisline will always testify with the truth,” he said, he appreciates Trump’s “commitment to highlight the truth”. The issue has made changes within Trump’s political base, some of which demand that files related to all Epstein be made public. The controversy increased last week after The Wall Street Journal published a report for Epstein on Trump’s tie. In response, Trump filed a case against the media Mogul Rupert Murdoch and the newspaper.Maxwell is considered one of the few of those who could reveal the mysteries of Epstein. Like Epstein’s brother Mark Epstein, Maxwell also believed that Epstein did not commit suicide and was murdered. He has so far lost his appeal against his sentence.
