New Delhi: Election Commission claimed on Friday that epic showed RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav There was “fake” for media during the press conference. The pole body has asked him to present it in the office by 16 August.The Patna Election Officer said in a letter to Yadav, “It seems that the epic displayed during a press conference is fake. Creating and using false government documents is a legal offense. You seem to be requested to present false epics in our office till 5 pm on August 16.”This came a day later when Yadav was issuing two epic numbers from EC. “If there were two epic numbers issues, who is on the mistake? And they ask me clarification,” he said.Earlier, Patna Election Registration Officer (ERO) had asked Yadav to submit the details of the Epic Card during his press conference on August 2, which set a deadline for the afternoon of August 8 for information for further investigation.“The description of the epic card you mentions mentioned in the press conference on 02.08.2025 were requested to be fully examined, but so far, a copy of the desired documents and epic cards has not been provided from your level. Therefore, it is again requested that the details should be ignored until the afternoon of 08.08.2025.Yadav earlier alleged that his name was absent from the new draft voter list released on August 1, and later claimed that his epic number was replaced. However, the Election Commission dismissed these claims, stating that a detailed verification showed its name listed in Serial No. 416 of Polling Station 204 at Library Building of Bihar Animal Science University.
