Exile controversy: Judge Order Release of Kilmar Ebrego Garcia; Government failed to prove MS -13 link

In a major legal judgment, a federal judge in Tennessee ordered Al Salvador earlier this year to release an immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, while a separate decision in Maryland has blocked any immediate attempt to get him out again. On Wednesday, two ruling, distributed within a few minutes of each other, pave the way for the return of Ebrego Garcia, at least for now, as an independent person for Maryland, where he was living with his family before he started in March, the New York Times reported.Despite being in the middle of legal proceedings, Abrego Garcia was deported on 15 March. He was brought back to the United States in June after removing him. However, on his return, he was jailed on allegations involved in a criminal case in Tennessee, fearing that American officials were preparing to exert him for the second time. The prosecutors had accused him of being part of a long -running human trafficking operations associated with the MS -13 gang, but American District Judge Waverali de Krench JR expressed serious doubts about the power of the government’s evidence. In its judgment, Judge Crench said that the government had “tried poorly to tie Abrego from MS -13”, and according to the New York Times highlighted the absence of tattoos or signs related to any gang. He said that there is no evidence that Garcia has a working relationship with “known MS -13 members; ever told any witness that he is an MS -13 member; or has ever been associated with any kind of gang activity.”Reductioning the case, Creshow questioned the credibility of the government’s leading witness, Jose Ramon Hernandez Reece, a guilty smuggler from Texas allegedly operated Operation Abrego Garcia.Along with this, in Maryland, the US District Judge Paula Shinis issued a separate order to immigration officers after his release immediately detained Abrigo Garcia.
