Factory owner, 87, toddler grandchildren killed in Maha Factory Blaze

Kolhapur: Eight people died in the early hours of Sunday when a textile factory caught fire in Solapur district of Maharashtra. Three firefighters, including the Chief Fire Officer, were jealous of their palms and faces. He continued the effort through the morning and afternoon. Around 8 pm, the bodies of Mehtab Bagwan (51), Hina Bagwan (35), and Salman Bagwan (18) were found. By 3 pm, the remains of Osman, Anas Mansuri (24), Shika Mansuri (24), Yusuf, and Ayesha Bagwan (45) were also found. While Mansuris belonged to the owner, Baghwans belonged to the family of the worker. A distant relative identified the remains of the Mansuri family. Any immediate family members survived.SDO Sadashiv Paddune said that about 10,000 to 12,000 square feet spread in the factory. The residents reported to hear a loud voice before the flames erupted. The fire rose for six to seven hours, with efforts to recover for more than 12 hours. Property damage, including machinery and raw materials, is estimated at Rs 1 crore.
