Farooq Abdullah has warned the Supreme Court if the state of Jammu and Kashmir has not been restored by India news

Srinagar: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah convicted the “dual power structure” in the center area for the slow pace of development and warned that his party would transfer SC if his party is not restored soon. This is the first time Nekan has threatened legal action on the restoration of the state for Jammu and Kashmir.Abdullah said on Saturday that despite the formation of an elected government in October 2024, the expectations of the people remain uncontrolled due to the lack of the state – the first in Jammu and Kashmir since 2018 and the region was carved into two UTS in 2019.“People hoped that the new government would address their demands, but the absence of the state is a major obstacle,” he said after a meeting with party representatives in Cokeranag in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. He said, “How can we fulfill the aspirations of the state without a state? Only we can also have a complete cabinet that is capable of addressing public issues effectively,” he said.Abdullah said that his party had launched an outreach campaign to make people aware of “some political forces ready to compromise their interests”. He said that in an eight -month office of the neck -led coalition, he is hopeful about the return of the state. “We are waiting patiently. But if the delay continues, we will have little option to go to the Supreme Court.”“Power Struggle” has become increasingly public between elected government -led government and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, headed by the National Conference. This month, cabinet ministers accused Sinha of interfering in the administrative decisions reserved for the government.Sinha pushed back. “I have no right over development departments. The government is elected the responsibility of the government. I only control the police and can deploy where needed. Roads, water, electricity, agriculture – are all subject to the elected government, “he said.Sajad Lone, president of the People’s Conference, supported the state’s demand but criticized NC’s record in the office. Lone said, “UT’s position certainly limits development and has an abusive existence. But whatever powers exist, the NC government has not used them. Instead, they have armed the Govt transfer and discriminated against the constituencies that they did not win,” Lone said.He also questioned the concentration of power in the CMO. “CM has 32 departments. Is it possible to run 32 departments humanly?” Loan asked.
