US President Donald Trump has indicated that Vice President JD Vance is “most likely” to be a political successor for the Maga movement in 2028, while the future Republican leadership is also the secretary of the state’s Marco Rubio as a potential person in the Republican leadership. In a recent interview, Fox News correspondent Peter Doki asked Trump, “You can clean the entire Republican region right now. Do you agree that the successor for Maga is JD Vance?”“Well, I think most likely. All in fairness, he is the vice president,” Trump replied.Trump also brought Marco Rubio as a prominent person under the Republic leadership of the future. “I think Marco is also someone who will probably meet with JD in some form,” he said.Trump said, “I also feel that we have some incredible people on the stage. So it is very early to talk about it, but of course he is doing a great job and he will probably be a favorite at this point.”In an May 1 interview with MSNBC, Trump praised Vance, but refused to make any official announcement about 2028. “This – this can be very well – I – I don’t want to join it. I think he is a great, brilliant man. Marco is great.Meanwhile, in a separate interview months ago, Trump expressed interest in running himself again. He refused to give a lump sum support to Vance and said that he continues to receive requests from party members to consider 2028 bids – even though the US Constitution limits the Presidents to two conditions.Trump claimed that there are “many flaws” that could make a third term possible and insisted that he was “not joking” when he first swims the idea. His comments have attracted attention from constitutional experts, as any President has never served more than two elected terms.
